This will focus on national and regional issues of importance to physicians and patient care. The remainder of the conference will use a novel interactive case-based format to explore a variety of common clinical conditions. Short clinical case scenarios will be presented to the attendees. They will then be given an opportunity to answer a series of clinical questions electronically directed at the key issues of the case. The tabulated audience responses will be immediately reviewed in order to share as a group the various approaches to clinical management. Following this, there will be focused commentary presented by the expert panelist. These nationally recognized experts will give short reviews highlighting the key issues generated by each case. General topics will include management of atrial fibrillation, management of valvular heart disease, diastolic heart failure, noninvasive evaluation and treatment of coronary disease and the invasive management of coronary disease. We are confident this case based approach will be informative, clinically relevant and ensure lively interaction between the attendees and the expert panelists.
