How to Join NCCACC

In order to join the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (NCCACC), you must be a member of the American College of Cardiology. Once you are elected to the College, simply indicate on your dues statement that $100 of your payment is for the North Carolina Chapter annual dues. Dues for Cardiac Care Associate Members is $25 per year. Your membership will be automatically added to the NC Chapter.

Chapters provide ACC members with the opportunity to discuss local and regional concerns and participate at a leadership level in the resolution of issues that directly affect them. Participation in local chapters is the ladder to future participation and leadership opportunities at the national level. To become a chapter member, membership in ACC is required.
ACC National Cardiac Care Associate Membership
Nurtured by the College's team-based approach to cardiovascular care, Cardiac Care Associate membership group has exceptional growth, reaching nearly 3,600 members since their inception in 2003. The CCAs are comprised of professional types including Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, and Physician Assistants.
Since 2003, when this member group was formed, CCAs serve not only on their own Committee, but also, on over 30 standing ACC Committees, including, but not limited to: publications, continuing education, cardiac catheterization and intervention committee, accreditation steering committee, and the heart failure and transplant committee.

ACC National Practice Administrator Membership
This membership category was designed to keep practice administrators informed of key issues impacting cardiovascular care and give them the opportunity to influence policy issues that have a direct impact on the delivery of care and the efficiency of the practice.
