How to register:

After you have selected your registration category with applicable payment, and added a spouse/guest or child, then scroll down to select optional seminars and add on events during your registration process. Add-ons must be completed during original registration process.
Click “check out” to continue to the payment screen and enter your details.
Registration fees/types:
NC/SC Members: $350 | $400 after Sept 8
Non NC/SC ACC Chapter Members: $450 | $500 after Sept 8
CV Technician (NP, PA, RN): $150 | $200 after Sept 8
Spouse/Guest/Children 15+: $100 | $150 after Sept 8
Late Fee - registrations made from September 8 on will incur a late fee of $50.
Conference Cancellation Policy
Cancellations from Sept 13 on are unable to be refunded.
Cancellations must be made via email to info@nccacc.org by Sept 10 at 5pm EST in order to receive a full refund, less credit card and processing fees.

Lifestyle Medicine - Jessica Newman PA-C, DipACLM
· Describe the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine.
· Implement a coach approach to behavioral health counseling.
· Demonstrate the power of lifestyle medicine in a busy clinic setting.
Dyslipidemia - Eric E Shoup, MS, PAC, CLS
· Discuss the impact of lifestyle modification on the treatment of dyslipidemia.
· Discuss the impact of currently accepted standards of pharmacologic therapy on the treatment of dyslipidemia.
· Discuss the role of LP(a) and ASCVD.
· Discuss the role of inflammation and ASCVD.
Structural Heart - Kathleen “Katie” Jones PA-C; MPAS
· Review the history, definitions and purpose of the Left atrial appendage closure/occlusion (LAAC/O) procedure.

Contemporary Interprofessional Teams in the Cardiac ICU: Focus on Advanced Practice Providers - Callie Tennyson, DNP, ACNP-BC, AACC, CHSE, FAANP
· Describe the education, licensure, and certification of advanced practice providers prepared to work in the CICU.
· Recognize evidence around the benefits and impact of advanced practice providers in patients who are critically ill.
· Discuss 4 roles that advanced practice providers can fill to improve the value of care in the CICU.
Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs): A Primer into Current Therapeutic Conundrums - Joe Mazur, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP
· Review clinical pearls for the use of DOACs; indications, safety/efficacy, and latest relevant studies in the management of patients.
· Describe DOAC use in certain hard-to-treat adult patient populations; renal failure, obesity, and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
GENERAL SESSIONS
· Describe the role of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in advancing cardiovascular care, including its impact on clinical guidelines, education, and advocacy.
· Apply current evidence-based strategies in the evaluation and management of patients with stable coronary artery disease.
· Incorporate recent clinical advances into individualized treatment plans for patients with congestive heart failure to improve outcomes.
· Identify appropriate indications and recognize limitations of available treatment options for patients with mitral valve regurgitation.
· Evaluate the role of weight management interventions in optimizing cardiovascular outcomes in patients with or at risk for heart disease.
· Analyze strategies to address residual cardiovascular risk beyond traditional lipid and blood pressure control, including emerging therapies.
· Summarize recent advancements in cardiac pacemaker technology and formulate treatment approaches for patients with atrial fibrillation using updated evidence.
· Review current guidelines and develop management plans for cardiac complications associated with pregnancy, with a focus on maternal and fetal safety.

Renaissance Rate: $279.00 per night, plus tax, for run of house rooms. Parking is $10 daily.
Deadline for making reservations is August 29th, 2025 or until room block fills, whichever occurs first. Reservations received after this date will only be filled on a space-and-rate available basis.
Omni Grove Park Inn
The NC Chapter ACC has a discounted room block for our conference attendees at both the Omni Grove Park Inn and the Renaissance Asheville Downtown Hotel. Once you have registered for the conference, your receipt will contain links to book your hotel room online.
*Only registered and paid conference attendees are permitted to book a hotel reservation. Any hotel reservation booked that does not follow this policy will be removed from the block and subject to the prevailing online hotel room rate.
Omni Grove Park: Deadline for making reservations is August 18th, 2025 or until room block fills, whichever occurs first. Reservations received after this date will only be filled on a space-and-rate available basis. Rate: $369.00 per night, plus tax, and $25 nightly resort fee for run of house rooms.
