Congratulations to Dr. Amy Winiger, NC Chapter CVT Liaison, who achieved FACC!

Fellowship in the American College of Cardiology identifies individuals to peers and patients alike as a cardiovascular professional at the very top of your field. Election to Fellowship is based on training and specialty board certification in cardiology. Members are expected to conform to high moral standards.

In addition, Winiger was recently appointed to serve as a Member of the ACC Cardiovascular Team Section Leadership Council for a three year term. As an incoming committee member, she is a leader in the College.

“I’ve always been passionate about our cardiovascular patients and our profession. It is both an honor and a privilege to be inducted as a Fellow”.
