ACC Members Will Take to Capitol Hill For ACC Leg Conf 2022

Your ACC looks forward to welcoming members to Washington, DC, this weekend for ACC’s Legislative Conference 2022. Attendees will take to Capitol Hill to discuss key health policy issues with members of Congress and their staff. The key topics for this year’s meeting include: 

  • Increasing Access to Patient Care : this topic addresses Medicare cuts and expands patient access to cardiovascular care through legislation like the Increasing Access to Quality Cardiac Rehabilitation Act of 2021.

  • Improving Clinician Well-Being: this issue spans the need to streamline prior authorization practices and addresses workplace violence, where cases have notably increased under the strain of the COVID-19 pandemic.
